Employment Opportunities

Teachers

Math, reading, and English teachers who have experience with preparing students for the SAT I exam are encouraged to make application to our personnel department. Candidates are expected to have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university. We offer competitive semester stipends and additional field related compensation.

Although our staff is primarily a large core of seasoned veterans who teach at various high schools and colleges on Long Island, we do invite qualified applicants to submit a cover letter, documented employment history, and a copy of either your provisional or permanent teaching certificate to: The Hampton Review P.O. Box 1429 Westhampton Beach, New York 11978, or via electronic mail as a “Word” attachment to: Hamptonrev@aol.com.

If a teaching vacancy develops, you will be asked to interview with a member of our administration. After your success with the preliminary interview, candidates will be invited to perform a follow-up SAT I “demo” lesson. All appointed instructors are expected to attend all paid training sessions and future in-service courses designed to enrich your knowledge base with Hampton’s philosophical and pedagogical approaches.

Your cover letter should greet Ms. Lisa Falkner, Personnel Director. Your documented employment history must include at least three different supervisors who can attest to your qualifications and abilities in the classroom. It is also strongly advised to list other co-professionals as character references.
